Jimmy Tarrant, Founder and President
Part of Jimmy’s life journey was a struggle with internet pornography use. Much of this battle occured while he was serving as a minister. During this struggle he felt isolated; he felt he could not share his struggle with anyone. He was worried about what would happen if his sin was discovered. Other than his wife, no one ever discovered his battle. After God helped him gain victory in this area of life, Jimmy had to decide whether to keep this chapter of his life secret or share what God taught him through his experience. Jimmy felt led to share and try to help others.
Jimmy is passionate about helping others find freedom in Christ regardless of what battles they face. No Christian should struggle in isolation. God uses his transparent testimony about his own struggles to open the hearts of people. Many dealing with secret sins have found the courage to break free.
Whether leading a men's ministry event, revival, seminar, conference, worship service, camp or retreat, Jimmy's love for Christ and people comes through. He has an unrelenting belief in the power of the Gospel to save and to free.
With over 30 years of ministry experience, Jimmy has helped people deal with many of life's challenges. His ministry has primarily been serving as a pastor, but he has also served in youth ministry and campus ministry. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Clemson University and a Master of Divinity Degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with an emphasis in Pastoral Care and Counseling. He has been married to his wife Connie for 30 years. The couple has two beautiful daughters, Gabriellle and Michaela.
Jimmy is an avid fisherman and also enjoys playing golf.
